The second of two laboratory courses providing instruction in the modern techniques of biochemistry. Experiments are performed on the isolation, manipulation and characterization of DNA, RNA, and proteins. Students will use their results and the scientific literature to prepare formal written reports and oral presentations. Prerequisite: CHEM 4481.
