Intermediate level ballet barre, center, position, and transitional patterns of the classical ballet will be introduced and practiced for mastery. Emphasis will be on quick mastery of simple to complex combinations of these patterns plus an understanding of the biomechanical basis of each pattern. The importance of dance as a performing art will be stressed. This course is also offered as PFW 1180E. Prerequisite: DAN 1180 or the equivalent.
