This course helps students gain knowledge and skills needed to support Microsoft Windows. Topics covered: setup, configuration, customization, optimization, network integration and administration, troubleshooting, and messaging. A+ Certification satisfies the prerequisite of CTEC 201. Network+ Certification satisfies the prerequisite of CTEC 151. Previous networking experience is recommended but not required. Designed to help students prepare for Microsoft Certification Exam #70-270. This is an official Microsoft-approved training class for students preparing to take Microsoft Certified Professional exam for Windows client software. Previous networking experience is recommended but not required. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in CTEC 201 and CTEC151, or consent of Instructional Unit. [GE]
