The required software products are then designed and implemented in CSSE 488 and 489, culminating in a formal presentation of results at the end of the spring quarter. The three courses, CSSE 487 (or CSSE 486 for students pursuing a B.A. degree), 488, and 489, must be taken as a continuous sequence and together, they fulfill the senior synthesis core requirement.
