Study of the dynamics of communication in everyday small groups, with particular attention to the behavior of decision-making groups. Examination of issues such as the development of group cohesion and identity, roles and norms, conflict, leadership, and decisionmaking processes. Students apply their understanding of these issues in group projects designed to provide practical experience in group performance. Prerequisite: CMJR 225 or departmental permission.
