Offerings An alternative version of HIS 3600. Through guided independent study, the student surveys development of the region encompassing Washington, Oregon, and Idaho from the discovery period to the present. Students engage in readings and field visits, and submit a journal both as a measure of learning progress and as a permanent resource packet. Offered Summer Session only. (Post-baccalaureate students should enroll in HIS 5600, a version of the course offered year round.) Attributes: Upper-Division Restrictions: Freshman, Sophomore students are excluded.
