Offerings Prerequisites: One and a half years of high school mathematics including algebra, or permission of instructor; passing score on the SPU Mathematics Proficiency exam or concurrent registration in the required course MAT 0120. This course is not recommended for students who have completed one year of high school chemistry. Examines the structure of matter and the tools and methods used by the chemist. Simple reactions and some current applications are studied. Can be used as preparation for CHM 1211. Includes laboratory. Extra fee. Attributes: Natural Science B
