Offerings This course explores a wide range of music including vernacular and art music of Western and non-Western cultures. Students gain skills in listening to music from diverse cultures, develop understanding of the influence of cultural and historical context of those types of music, and learn how those traditions can be experienced today in the city of Seattle.
