Career-related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the College, employer, and student. Under the supervision of the College and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. Includes lecture component. Prerequisites: WLDG 1528 and WLDG 2543 for Structural Welder Occupational Certificate; WLDG 1530,1534,2551 for Gas Shielded Certificate of Technology. For A.AS. Degree a minimum of 20 semester hours of A.A.S. welding courses are required. An accumulative GPA of at least 2.0 is required.
