(Formerly RESC 2215) This course is preparation for conducting therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate, spontaneous, and artificial ventilation, with emphasis on ventilator classification, methods, principles, and operational characteristics. Student also study the indications, complications, and physiologic effects/principles of mechanical ventilation. Prerequisite: RSPT 1431. (3:3-1)
