(Formerly Psychology 234, PSYC 2314) This course is a study of the basic statistical concepts and techniques of descriptive and inferential statistics as used in psychological and educational research. Included are frequency distributions and graphs; measures of central tendency and variability; interpretation of individual scores; correlations and prediction; the logic of inferential statistics; t-test; analysis of variance; and some nonparametric statistics including chi square. Prerequisites: PSYC 2301, Reading level 7 and Writing level 7. (3:3-0)
