(Formerly Speech/Drama 232, SPCH 2312) This course covers effective habits in the use of the speaking voice, emphasizes the study of English phonetics, phrasing, intonation, and voice production. Training also enables the student to listen intelligently to the sound of his/her own voice. Students cannot receive credit for both SPCH 1342 and DRAM 2336. Prerequisite: Reading level 6. (3:3-0)
