(Formerly INSP 1518) This is an introduction to the study of non-destructive testing in accordance with SNT-TC-1A materials before and after they are welded. An integral part of the course is the interpretation of non-destructive testing in accordance with building codes in liquid penetrant and magnetic particle. The theory and operation of magnetic and penetrant testing methods are stressed. (4:3-3)
