This introductory health professions workbased instruction helps students synthesize new knowledge, apply previous knowledge, and/ or gain experience managing the workflow in the care of adult clients/families with common medical-surgical health needs related to each body system. Practical experience is simultaneously related to theory. Close and/ or direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional, generally in a clinical setting. Clinical education is an unpaid learning experience. Prerequisites: RNSG 1413, RNSG 1215, RNSG 1160, and RNSG 1215. Corequisite: RNSG 1301, RNSG 1341, and PSYC 2314. (2:0-7)
