(Formerly RNSG 1241) This course examines the role of the professional nurse and applies systematic problem solving processes and critical thinking skills. It focuses on the utilization of leadership and management skills in the provision of care to small groups of pediatric clients and their families in selected settings. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. Prerequisites: RNSG 1209, RNSG 1417, RNSG 1260/1360. Co-requisite: RNSG 2160 or RNSG 2161. This is an 8-week course for four hours per week. (2:2-0)
