CSurgical Nursing I (511613) (Formerly VOCN 1320) This course focuses on application of nursing process to the care of adult patients experiencing medical-surgical conditions in the health-illness continuum at a variety of health-care settings are utilized. Prerequisite: Reading level 7, Math level 7, Writing level 7, and completion of first semester VNSG courses. Co-requisite: Concurrent enrollment in VNSG 1231 and VNSG 1361 required. Hours: Forty-eight lecture hours and sixteen lab hours. (3:3-1)
