(Formerly INSP 2521 ) This is an advanced course in the application of metallurgy principles to processes and procedures pertaining to various metal compositions and fusions. Studies include the metallurgy and selection of filler metal groups, the nature of defects, metal fusion problems, thermal effects in metal fusion, and the welding of various kinds of steel and nonferrous metals.
