This course is a review of basic electronic concepts related to measurement theory. It features instruction in instrumentation calibrators and calibration circuits used for servicing and calibration of potentiometers, temperature transmitters and various transducers. Topics include terminology, electrical symbols, electrical drawings, electrical connections and fittings, wire sizes, lighting, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, enunciators, annunciators, alarms and safety shutdowns. Test equipment, setup, calibration, testing, maintenance and safe work practices will be included. Prerequisite/co-requisite: ELPT 1311. (3:2-2)
