(Formerly VNSG 1320) This course is an introduction into normal anatomy and physiology of the human body with a particular emphasis and clinical correlation and application to emergency care. Included is an introduction to the pathophysiology of common injuries and illnesses found in the emergency care setting. Prerequisites: Reading level 6, Writing level 6, Math level 6. Forty-eight lecture hours and 16 lab hours including field trips. (3:3-1)
