This an exploration of the foundations necessary for mastery of the advanced topics of clinical practice out of the hospital. The curriculum is based on Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum. The student must meet the expected outcomes and terminal objectives of the class. Continuous enrollment may be required until these are met. Prerequisite: EMSP 1160, EMSP 1501 or department chair approval. Reading level 6, Writing level 6 and Math level 6. Forty lecture and 24 laboratory hours. (3:2.5-1.5)
