Pathophysiology is a three-credit lecture course appropriate for students preparing for a nursing career or as an elective for a biology major. This is a specialized study of the structure and function of human anatomy, including the neuroendocrine, integumentary, musculoskeletal, digestive, urinary, reproductive, respiratory, and circulatory systems as they relate to the study of human disease. Objectives include a study of general physiological factors involved in the disease process as well as pathology affectiving different human systems. Prerequisites: BIOL 2401 or BIOL 2402 or BIOL 1406 AND BIOL 1407. (3:3-0)
