This course provides career-related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the College, employer, and student. Under the supervision of the College and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. This course is designed to substitute for a DEMA three semester hour course in which a student has extensive diesel work experience and in which the student is currently working. The student must have permission from the lead diesel instructor before he/she can enroll in this class. This course can be taken only once for credit. Course includes a lecture component. Pre-requisite: 12 credit hours in diesel mechanics technology at San Jacinto College. (3:1-20)
