(3-0) 3 hours An introduction in patient assessment, emergency and safety procedures, communication and patient interaction skills, and basic pharmacology. Also includes locating and understanding information on the patient chart, venipuncture, and sterile technique. (SCANS 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11) Prerequisite: RADR 1311 or consent of department chair. Corequisites: RADR 1266, RADR 2301 and RADR 2309.
