3 hours Presents the concepts and techniques of sound production, including the coordinating and directing of all aspects of sound production from the design of the production to the finished product, with emphasis on the manipulation of equipment and sound sources and direction of talent. Lab fee required. (SCANS 6, 8, 9) Prerequisites: COMM 1307 or COMM 1335 or consent of instructor; THEA competency in reading and writing or consent of instructor.
