(3-0) 3 hours Topics covered will include algebra, geometry, measurement, and an introduction to probability and statistics. The student will learn to select appropriate mathematical techniques and technologies and use these skills in problem solving. The students will develop and/or discover mathematical relationships. This course is designed primarily for liberal arts and education majors. (SCANS 3, 8, 9, 11) Prerequisites: MATH 1332 or MATH 0375 or satisfactory placement score.
