3 hours A systems approach to managing activities associated with traffi c, transportation, inventory management and control, warehousing, packaging, order processing, and materials handling. The student will explain the terms and how they relate to the overall concept of logistics; explain the legal aspects and regulatory agencies as they relate to logistics management; and demonstrate ability to apply decisionmaking techniques based on time, materials and space. Lab fee required. (SCANS 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) Prerequisite: None.
