(3-0) 3 hours Introduction to the field of criminalistics. Topics include the application of scientific and technical methods in the investigation of crime including location, identification, and handling of evidence for scientific analysis. The student will describe the care required in identifying, collecting and preserving evidence for scientific examination and explain the significance of field and laboratory finding. Lab fee required. (SCANS 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9) Prerequisite: None.
