3 hours Preparation of firefighters and fire officers to develop public fire safety awareness. Emphasis on implementation of fire and public safety programs in an effort to reduce the loss of life. The student will identify safety programs for various target groups; and conduct fire and public safety programs within a community. Lab fee required. (SCANS 6, 7, 8, 9) Prerequisite: None.
