(3-0) 3 hours An in-depth study of the skills and techniques in managing early care and education programs, including legal and ethical issues, personnel management, team building, leadership, confl ict resolution, stress management, advocacy, professionalism, fi scal analysis and planning parent education/partnerships, and technical applications in programs. The student will demonstrate skills in fi scal planning and analysis, legal and ethical issues, personnel management and team building, advocacy and professionalism, parent education and partnership, and technical applications in programs. The student will utilize skills in speaking, writing, computation and computer utilization. (SCANS 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9) Prerequisite: None.
