3 hours Basic information security goals of availability, integrity, accuracy, and confi dentiality. Vocabulary and terminology specifi c to the fi eld of information security are discussed. Identifi cation of exposures and vulnerabilities and appropriate countermeasures are addressed. The importance of appropriate planning and administrative controls is also discussed. (SCANS 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) Prerequisite: ITSC 1401 and ITNW 1325 or consent of instructor.
