3 hours Introduces the concepts and principles of normal nutrition with emphasis on the importance of nutrients and their roles and functions within the body and throughout one's life. The student will be able to understand and interpret nutritional concepts and issues, and estimate the nutritional value of specific food groups within one's diet.
