3 hours Methods used in the identifi cation of physical, emotional and sexual abuse and neglect with an emphasis on developing skills for working with children and families. Includes methods of referral to public and private agencies that deal with investigation and treatment. Reviews current federal, state and local child abuse laws, including Texas licensing standards.
