3 hours A presentation of the basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components in construction and their relationship to the overall building. The student will identify heating, air conditioning, and electrical components and systems; and identify and explain the relationships between the mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. A comprehensive course covering industrial maintenance principles and procedures for building maintenance personnel. Complete coverage of electrical, boiler, HVAC, mechanical, and other systems. Lab fee required. (SCANS 1, 3, 6, 8, 9) Prerequisite: None.
