(3-0) 3 hours Provides information about the legal system and its impact on business operations and decisions. Learning activities provide students opportunities to acquire factual information about designated topics as well as to apply and relate that knowledge to simulated and current business situations. Topics covered include the legal environment of business, the nature and source of legal systems, law of contracts, agency, government regulation of business, and property. Ethical perspectives are integrated throughout the course. (SCANS 6, 7, 9, 11) Prerequisites: Pass TASP/THEA English, reading.
