A course that surveys topics such as local Puget Sound issues, rain forest ecology, nuclear power plant ecology, and the volcano ecology of Mt. Saint Helens. Includes half day field trips to local sites and multi-day trips to the Olympic Rain Forest and Mt. Saint Helens. Requires extra fees to cover travel, food, lodging, and lab supplies. Includes lab experience. Prerequisite: permission of instructor.
