Elementary algebra, geometry, scientific notation, coordinate graphing, exponents and roots, solving equations, order of operations, and word problems requiring a wide range of math skills. Includes practice on Casio FX260 calculator (used in taking the GED Math Test). Last in a series of courses for improvement of basic skills in math. This course can serve as preparation for the GED Math Test or as a refresher course for basic skills improvement. Student must have passed 2 or more GED tests. Prerequisite: ABE 024 or recommending score on placement test.
