This course deals with the composition and structure of the Earth's interior; identification of common minerals and the three major rock groups; the concepts and processes of the evolution of various surface features of the Earth. This course serves the needs of non-science majors who are required to complete one or more science courses. Prerequisite: concurrent enrollment in SCIE 1301 Introduction to Geology Laboratory.
