Exploration of topics covered at the K-6 level, current methodology, research, and curriculum trends relative to the teaching of mathematics for elementary educators. The application of manipulatives, technology, motivational techniques, and resources will be emphasized and demonstrated through presentations and micro-teaching units. Prerequisite: Admission to the professional sequence. Courses taken concurrently for Elementary Education Major: EDUC 3013, 3022, 4012, 4103, 4182.
