An experientially-based course enabling students to recognize the needs of special students and to become comfortable with students who have special needs. Attention is also given to public laws and policies as they relate to classroom expectations. The course includes a minimum of ten hours of field experience. Prerequisite: Admission to professional sequence or instructor permission. Courses taken concurrently for Elementary Education majors: EDUC 3013, 3302, 4103, 4132, 4182. Courses taken concurrently for Secondary Education Major: EDUC 3013, 3022, 3032, 3302. Courses taken concurrently for Music Education Major: EDUC 3013, 3022, 3032.
