Practicum] Applies concepts of health assessments and interventions specific to healthy and at-risk families as learned in NURS 4344 Health of Traditional and Alternative Families. Two primary clinical experiences include care management of 1) prospective families, and pregnant families from pre-term through post delivery, and 2) growing infants and children during illness episodes and wellness. Combines clinical diagnostic reasoning, ethical decision-making, and therapeutic monitoring skills acquired in previous nursing courses with a multi-complex scope of patient/client interactions.
