An introduction to current theory and practice in effective instruction. Emphasizes lesson planning and delivery that derive from instructional objectives, with attention given to the application of learning theories. Provides micro-teaching experience which develops skills in making instructional decisions. Prerequisite: Admission to the professional sequence.
