Application of a systematic problem-solving process and critical-thinking skills to provide nursing care to diverse clients/families across the lifespan with complex health care needs in health maintenance and health restoration. Opportunities to collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary health care team. Topics include the role of the registered nurse as client advocate and coordinator of care with applicable competencies in knowledge, judgment, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. Prerequisites: RNSG 2201/2261 or RNSG 1442/1263. Corequisite: RNSG 2461.
