This course is a combined single-semester study of statics and dynamics using vector algebra and calculus. Topics include free body diagrams, equilibrium of force and force systems, dynamics of rigid bodies, force-massacceleration, work-energy and impulse-momentum as they pertain to rigid two- and three-dimensional bodies. Prerequisite: PHYS 2425 and MATH 2413.
