Concepts of leadership and its relationship to management. Prepares the student with leadership and communication skills needed to inspire and influence. Topics include the application of leadership skills in relation to the dynamic leader-follower-situational environment, creating an organizational culture and environment for successful leadership at all levels, the role of leadership in the strategic management process; including analysis of how organizations develop and implement strategy for achieving organizational objectives in a changing environment, and leadership's role in the strategic, tactical, and operational planning process.
