Offers instruction and practice designed to aid the actor in achieving optimum vocal performance through exploration of vocal mechanics and proper breathing, projection, resonance, articulation, and characterization. Basic dialects and Shakespearean textual performance techniques are introduced. Required of theatre majors. Prerequisite: DRAM 1351 (or concurrent enrollment) or permission of the instructor.
