A method of instruction providing detailed education, training and work-based experience and direct patient/client care, generally at a clinical site. On-site clinical instruction, supervision, evaluation and placement is the responsibility of the college faculty. Clinical experiences are unpaid external learning experiences. Clinical IV provides clinical practice to develop affective and psychomotor (and reinforce cognitive) skills to include: home care and rehabilitation as well as pulmonary function studies, special procedures, and care of the critically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient. Prerequisites: RSPT 2360. Semester Hours 3 (16 clinical hours/week)
