Studies in detail the knowledge and skills necessary to reach competence in the assessment and management of ill or injured patients in nontraditional populations. Certificates include PEPP, PALS and NRP. Prerequisites: EMSP 1161, 1162, 1355. Must have taken VNSG 1420, HPRS 1206 and COSC 1301, with a minimum grade of C or currently enrolled in these classes. Corequisites: EMSP 2434, 2162 and 2163. Semester Hours 3 (2 lec/2 lab)
