Demonstrates the application of these and other mathematical concepts to the solution of various business, economics, and other real-world problems: systems of linear equations and inequalities, matrices, linear programming, mathematics of finance, set theory, introductory probability and statistics, nonlinear functions, limits, and derivatives. Graphing calculator required. Prerequisite: MATH 0311, or THEA math score of 270 or higher, or equivalent score on approved alternative test, or consent of division director. Semester Hours 3 (3 lec)
