Examines current concerns and practices of the visual arts. Stresses studio work exploring the students' concerns, with emphasis on creative development. Proposal for course work is initiated by the student and approved by the instructor. May be repeated for credit, as topics vary. Topics may include but are not limited to design, drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and ceramics. Prerequisite: ARTS 1312 and 1317 or consent of the instructor.
