A study of the UNIX operating system including multi-user concepts, terminal emulation, use of system editor, basic UNIX commands, and writing script files using LINUX operating system. Topics include introductory systems management concepts. Students will learn the proper use of basic UNIX commands; define and apply terminal emulation; use of the system editor; manage individual user account; and effectively manage user files.
